The PREP® approach is based on 30 years of research.
Pre-marraige course
 
 
In the past 7 years the course has maintained a consistant 95% recommendation rate from participating couples. In 2010 48% of couples who attended the course were refered by a relative or friend who had attended.
 
With no group work or role play - this is a relaxed experience, not to be feared.

Course history
 
All Hallows College commenced Pre-Marraige education courses in June 2004. Since then thousands of couples have completed the PREP® Pre-Marriage Course at our Drumcondra location.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 The Course Facilitators
 

Pamela van de Poll B.Sc., MBA:

Pamela began her work in relationship training with Accord in 1991. In July 2003 she and her co-facilitator Isobel Murray travelled to the United States to train at the PREP® institute under the tutilage of Professor Scott Stanley - the founder of the PREP institute.

In June 2004 Pamela and Isobel ran their first course in All Hallows College.

Pamela has worked in the area of relationship education for over 15 years, working with teenagers in the area of sexuality and relationships. Pamela currently works at the Dublin Marriage Tribunal as an Advocate.

Pamela also lecturers on the All Hallows Masters Degree in 'Management for non profit organisations'. 

 

Jed van de Poll B.Sc., Grad Dip Business Strategy:

 

Jed has also trained with Professor Scott Stanley in the US. Jed regularly co-presents Pre-Marraige courses with his wife Pamela. 

Isobel Murray B.A.(Theology & Psychology), M.Sc. (Psychotherapy) Grad Dip Counselling & Psychotherapy (Couples & Relationships)

 

Isobel is a graduate of All Hallows College and has a Masters in Psychotherapy from Dublin City University. Isobel is a qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist working with Accord and at the Healthy Living Centre, Dublin City University. Isobel trained in the US as a PREP®-Instructor under Professor Stanley.  Isobel also completed Basic Clinical training in Imago Relationship Therapy.

 

 

Miriam Barrow B.A. (Psychology), M.Sc Psychotherapy (Couples & Relationships)

Grad Dip Couples & Relationship Councelling                               

 

Miriam is a Psychotherapist specialising in relationship problems.  Miriam currently works for the Accord marriage and relationship counselling service and is in private practice in Kilkenny.  In 2008 Miriam trained in Dublin as a PREP® facilitator and subsequently joined the PREP® team as a co-facilitator on the pre-marriage course in All Hallows. She has a particular interest in the assessment of relationship problems and is  currently studying psychosexual therapy at  Doctoral level with a view to incorporating psychosexual therapy into her practice.

 

Carolanne Henry B.A.Phil:

 

completed her certificate in Counselling in 1993 and worked for a number of years as a volunteer with the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. In 2003 she qualified as a Pre-Marriage facilitator with ACCORD and worked with them for a number of years. She currently works as Marketing Manager in All Hallows College. Carolanne has trained in Dublin as a PREP® facilitator and is working on a Masters in Psychology.
